Child Sexual Abuse and Expoitation Policy

Within the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids (OBOD), we are committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. We have a zero-tolerance policy for any content or activity that promotes, facilitates, or depicts CSAE in any form. Our policies align with international legal standards and best practices to ensure a safe and responsible online environment for all users.

1. Prohibited Content and Behavior

OBOD strictly prohibits:

  • Any content, including images, descriptions, or links, that depicts or promotes the sexual exploitation or abuse of children.
  • Any solicitation, grooming, or predatory behavior targeting minors (under 18 years of age).
  • Any form of child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including digitally generated, altered, or AI-manipulated content.
  • Any accounts or users engaged in CSAE-related activities, including distribution, solicitation, or facilitation of such content.

2. Reporting and Detection Measures

To prevent CSAE, OBOD has implemented robust detection and reporting mechanisms within our products and services:

  • User Reporting Tools: Users can report CSAE content or suspicious behavior directly within our platform. Reports are reviewed promptly.
  • Moderators: Our moderators investigate all CSAE reports and takes immediate action.
  • Partnerships with Authorities: We cooperate with law enforcement, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and other relevant organizations to report and address CSAE incidents.

3. Enforcement Actions

OBOD takes strict action against users who violate our CSAE policies, including:

  • Immediate removal of violating content.
  • Permanent banning of offending accounts.
  • Reporting violations to law enforcement and relevant child protection agencies.

4. Industry Collaboration and Compliance

OBOD works with industry partners and organizations to combat CSAE. We adhere to legal obligations, including the U.S. PROTECT Act, COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act), and global initiatives to prevent online child exploitation.

5. How to Report CSAE Content

If you encounter any CSAE content on any OBOD product or service, report it immediately using our in-app reporting tools by pressing the “flag” icon or 3 dots “…” and then “Report” or contact us at admin@druidry.org. We also encourage users to report suspected CSAE content to the Internet Watch Foundation (https://iwf.org.uk), or in the United States, NCMEC’s CyberTipline (https://report.cybertip.org) — for any other countries, please check Google’s directory: https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/148666 — or your local authorities.
OBOD is committed to fostering a safe and respectful online space. We will continue to enhance our policies, tools, and enforcement measures to prevent CSAE and protect children.
