Some people live by words: words are their daily bread, poems are on their lips, the writings of others, or what they have been inspired to write themselves. Without their presence, life would be meaningless, existence a rudderless affair, an ocean impossible to navigate, the furthest shores unreachable.
If you’re one of these word passionate people then here’s a weekend to bring the poems you love or the writing that may have poured through you, so that it can find listeners and companionable hearts and ears.
We will play together, explore the voice and what you are a voice for, be vigilant, show up, and whirl for a while in the marvel of words. Rumi will be there, and Mary Oliver and all the other voices that have found your voice. In one room all who gather and those who have gathered us.
