Chrissie Lloyd

Celebrant

I am a fully qualified Celebrant and Soul Midwife and member of OBOD. I offer beautiful, personal and memorable wedding celebrations, handfasting ceremonies, baby naming ceremonies, and pet memorials. In fact, any coming-of-age, rite of passage, or life transition, where you need to mark an occasion with love, joy, celebration, appropriate ritual, due ceremony and great respect.

I believe that ritual is more important than ever in these secular times. I am a nature lover who works with natural elements such as crystals, flowers, and trees, to add beauty, meaning and depth to the ceremony. I am based in Bristol, UK but I work in Glastonbury regularly, and can travel all over the West Country and beyond.

I have a Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy, NOCN Accredited. I joined OBOD shortly after beginning the School of Celebrancy ‘Celebrating Life’ Training Course, in order to further increase my understanding and knowledge of how to create a marriage celebration or handfasting ceremony that will be truly meaningful and memorable.

As an award-winning ex-BBC Radio presenter, who has much experience in interviewing people of all walks of life and finding out, writing up and delivering their story, I will bring all this invaluable expertise to the table when preparing and delivering your service. I will work with you so that together we can create something truly magical to mark your very special occasion. Please see my website www.crystallinecelebrations.co.uk for more information. Learn more about Druidry and how to join the order

The practice of Druidry used to be confined to those who could learn from a Druid in person. But now you can take an experience-based course wherever you live, and when you enrol on this course, you join the Order of Bards, Ovates & Druids, and begin an adventure that thousands of people all over the world have taken. It works with the ideas and practices of Druidry in a thoroughly practical, yet also deeply spiritual way.
