Hello, I am a recently retired registered nurse with a career spanning over five decades . During this time, I had the privilege of being alongside people during some of their happiest and saddest moments . My spiritual pathway is heavily influenced by the sacred nature which is all around us. Although originally from Edinburgh, I have lived on the edge of Dartmoor for many years .
I am a member of OBOD in the Druid grade and with other members completed the OBOD Funeral Celebrancy course when it was introduced some years ago .
I am a member of the Fellowship of Professional Celebrants having completed the Marriage and Family Celebrancy training .
A celebrant with more than ten years experience, I believe that no two ceremonies should be the same . I can comfortably work with any rite of passage ceremony in a supportive and caring way, working with you to create your personal ceremony, whether it is naming your baby, making your commitment to each other with handfasting, or saying your final farewell to a loved one, including as many of your ideas and wishes as are possible.
Your celebration can be indoors or not, depending on your preference. This is your ceremony, and I will do my very best to make it so. I live in Devon but can travel if required.
